Yes, if we are to believe the innovations of Singapore's National Gallery, which is offering several micro-courses on art and the environment via this medium.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It was almost by accident that I discovered <a href=\"https:\/\/format30.com\/en\/2023\/06\/05\/les-limites-du-microlearning\/\">these microlearning courses<\/a> via WhatsApp. I took a course on Future Learn, Open University's distance learning platform. It was a MOOC on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.futurelearn.com\/courses\/art-and-the-environment-in-southeast-asia-environment-as-contested-space\/1\/todo\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Art and Environment in Southeast Asia<\/a>. And it works.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It's a chatbot that offers to send you daily content as soon as you sign up. It also suggests a time for you to receive it:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>morning<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>afternoon<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>evening<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Then you get your first lesson via WhatsApp. Just as you would receive a message from a friend.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Le guide qui vous accompagne pendant tout le parcours est un \u00ab\u00a0pekaka\u00a0\u00bb : un martin-p\u00e9cheur, en malais. <a href=\"https:\/\/format30.com\/en\/2025\/08\/27\/how-to-understand-microlearning\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Le storytelling est efficace<\/a>. Ce ne sont pas des le\u00e7ons s\u00e8ches et anonymes qui vous parviennent, mais des messages personnalis\u00e9s, interactifs et qui vous invitent \u00e0 r\u00e9agir.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Photographs of the landscapes affected and works of art linked to environmental degradation illustrate the theme.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The whole thing is a masterpiece. You just want it to keep going.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I have completed the \u2018Lessons from a Pekaka\u2019 course. The gallery is now offering me another course in microlearning via WhatsApp: \u2018Acrobatic Souls\u2019, a course focusing on how certain artists have responded to the Coronavirus pandemic. Like the previous tour, it's completely free (but only available in English).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Guess what?
