I have mentioned <a href=\"https:\/\/format30.com\/en\/2023\/11\/08\/travailler-a-distance-engagez-vos-publics-avec-tricider\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Tricider<\/a>some time ago. It has the advantage of being a collective decision-making tool.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"organiser-un-debat-en-classe-ou-a-distance\">Organising a debate in class or remotely <\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"les-avantages-de-kialo-edu\">The benefits of Kialo-Edu<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This application offers a number of significant advantages:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Kialo-Edu is published by a German non-profit association. I got in touch with one of its representatives, who assured me that the application<strong> would remain free forever<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>It's an application <strong>can be used online, remotely or in the classroom<\/strong>. I have personally used it for workshops on European city citizenship. It can therefore be <strong>an ideal tool for blended learning<\/strong> on site and remotely.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The application <strong>allows respondents to be identified anonymously <\/strong>This makes it easier for shyer students to speak up. It also minimises the risk of a group effect (copying the leader's answers).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The interface<strong> works in several languages <\/strong>French, English, German, Portuguese and Spanish. In my example, the interface is in French, but I have allowed participants to reply in their own language (English, French or Portuguese).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You can <strong>export all arguments as a text file<\/strong> This feature allows you to rework the data in other formats (to produce a report or a Genially presentation, for example).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"visualisation-des-reponses-dans-kialo-edu\">Viewing responses in Kialo-Edu<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Kialo-Edu<strong> displays responses in two ways<\/strong> :<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"visualisation-sous-forme-de-diagramme-circulaire\">Visualisation in the form of<strong> pie chart<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li> a disc-shaped diagram with three colours, each representing a different type of topic:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>the blue<\/strong> colour represents a <strong>argument<\/strong>In the case of the Kialo-Edu I proposed on European citizenship, it's a statement about the advantages of this citizenship.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>the <strong>green <\/strong>colour represents a <strong>argument in favour<\/strong> of my first argument.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>the colour orange <\/strong>colour represents a <strong>argument against it<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>participants can add one or more arguments against or in favour of the first argument, but then for each new argument added to the whole. Click on the number to display the arguments. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>contributions <\/strong>This gives the number of actions completed by each student during the debate.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>votes <\/strong>Likewise, it is possible to display the number of votes cast.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>tasks <\/strong>The same applies to tasks.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You can also have <strong>a discussion on the debate<\/strong> How did you find the debate went?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You can make a note of each <strong>contributions <\/strong>of participants.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"kialo-edu-pour-organiser-un-debat-en-classe-la-solution\">Kialo-Edu for organising a classroom debate: THE solution?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I've seen quite a few solutions for organising classroom debates: some simple, some cool, some complex and some aesthetically stunning.
