What are Escape Games?

Ever heard of Escape Rooms? They're places where you're locked in for an hour or more, and you have to solve a series of puzzles to get out.

Escape games are the online equivalent of escape rooms. You evolve in a particular universe:

• the Middle Ages
• prehistory
• the future
• a parallel world
• a legendary kingdom (like Lord of the Rings)
• And so on. Your imagination is the limit 😉

The game tells you a story, with characters. Often, they are in difficulty and we offer to help them.

To help them, you have to pass a number of tests:

• decrypt a secret message
• breaking a numeric code
• complete a crossword
• solve a problem
• carry out a number of online searches
• defeat an enemy or shoot down an alien ship
• etc.

What will you learn in our Escape Games for Teachers workshop?

First of all, this is a Escape Games workshop.

It's not a course like at school.

The presenter is there to help you :

• come up with a game idea if you don't already have one
• create a story that will enthrall future players
• come up with inspiring characters that players can identify with
• inventing challenges to create suspense and motivation
• ensure that the course and tests meet your learning objectives
• use artificial intelligence and dedicated applications to create world-class games more easily
• create something unique, which will be YOUR game and nobody else's
• but also to collaborate with the other participants, look for solutions together, etc.

We'll take care of the rest! You don't need to create a paid Genially account: you'll use ours during the workshop, at school and at home.
