Why do we provide resources on Europe in Spanish?
For two reasons:
- Because Spanish is one of the most widely spoken languages in the world and one of the main languages of the European Union;
- Because, within our European training courses, in Brussels, we meet many groups of Spanish teachers.
These resources, like all those we publish, are free educational resources, in the as defined by UNESCO. And they are published in Creative Commons licence Attribution and Share Alike.
Europe and its institutions
Although the European Union and its institutions feature prominently in daily news reports, they are often perceived as distant by citizens. And teachers do not always have the resources to share their knowledge on the subject. By making these resources on Europe available to them free of charge in Spanish, we hope to assist them in their teaching tasks.

- summarises the advantages and disadvantages of European citizenship
- presents some interactive questions to gauge your audience's attention
We suggest you reuse it for your own lessons. To do so, click on the three dots at the bottom of the presentation. which you will find here(Version 2.0: for more information on versions, see this article).
