My internship at Formation 3.0 - visiting the Parlamentarium

My internship at Formation 3.0

Last year, I worked as an English teacher in a town in my region. I prepared primary school pupils for the Cambridge exam, using interactive presentations and group games to keep them engaged, prevent boredom and get them more involved. I arrived here about three weeks ago, and among the various activities, my manager Marco Bertolini and I organised a training course on European citizenship with a group of Italian teachers.

My internship at Formation 3.0 - Group of italian teacher visiting the European Parliament in Brussels. Gruppo di insegnanti italiani al Parlamento Europeo
Visiting the European Parliament

We visited the House of European History, the European Parliament and the Parlamentarium, with the aim of gaining a better understanding of this reality and then passing it on to their students.

During the first week, we also conducted an English class with an Italian teacher who works at a secondary school in Rouen. It was an innovative format: thanks to the teacher's excellent language skills, we preferred to take a guided tour of Brussels, focusing on history, culture and amusing anecdotes, rather than a traditional classroom lesson.

Currently, I am translating articles from French into English and Italian, and I will be involved in several projects until November. At the moment, Marco and I are preparing a self-assessment test in English for the next group of Italian teachers who will be joining us.

As mentioned in recent articles, we have used various AI tools such as Dupdub to design skills assessment exercises. In addition, The CourseNetworking's virtual assistant, Roumi, offers many ideas for create activities for both students and teachers.I am convinced that with the proper use of these new AI tools, the world of education could evolve considerably. I hope you enjoyed this brief presentation. To follow our projects, don't forget that you can subscribe for free to our newsletter. Thank you and see you soon!
