Converting PowerPoint to video with sound: a young woman explains the process using Flexclip to her colleague

How do I convert a PowerPoint presentation into a video with sound?

How do you turn a PowerPoint presentation into a video with sound? I tried out Flexclip’s new feature for turning PowerPoint presentations into videos with sound, and I was blown away. Here’s how it works and the results of my test.

Convert PowerPoint to video with sound

If, like me, you teach subjects that are a bit dry, such as European law...you’re probably looking for ways to turn a somewhat dull presentation into a compelling video. In any case, a video that’s likely to hold people’s attention more effectively, or even spark their interest.

I have tried Flexclip, which I have as already discussed in this article. And with whom I had created the entire a video about the water cycle. And I must admit that the result is stunning!

What has changed since the transformation?

You can already see the difference by downloading the original presentation from our European resources page in English.

However, here are the main differences:

  • the presentation has become an MP4 video
  • artificial intelligence added comments including linking text to better integrate the text in the speech bubbles into the layout
  • she also added a voice-over of my choice: a fairly sweet female voice
  • it created subtitles which I chose the format for (with high contrast for the visually impaired)
  • it added a music a touch dramatic and solemn, which suits the seriousness of the original subject matter.

Not bad, is it? And all that in just a few clicks and in under five minutes.

Turn PowerPoint into a video with sound using Flexclip: it only takes a few clicks

I’m parodying an advert for a famous brand of washing-up liquid: just a few drops are enough. But it’s true: To turn a PowerPoint presentation into a video with sound using Flexclip, it only took me a few clicks. And the whole process took me less than five minutes:

  • uploading the presentation in PowerPoint format
  • choice of voice
  • choice of subtitles
  • launch of the transformation

The Flexclip interface allows me to control every aspect of the process of converting PowerPoint to MP4 video.

This allows me to add yet another multimedia resource on the subject of the hierarchy of law in the European Union. That’s no small thing. We all know that not all our participants learn in the same way. By offering them a variety of resources on the same topic, we maximise learning opportunities for as many people as possible. Artificial intelligence allows us to save valuable time and create multimedia content that we might not have been able to produce on our own.
